Webinar Description
LIVE 90-minute webinar
Learn the ways movement can be an avenue for connection, with Movement & Expressive Arts Facilitator, Cathy Williams.
In this introductory 90-minute workshop, you will explore a series of embodiment and shared movement practices to foster connection and relationship.
We all move. Every body moves, in unique and beautiful ways. We don’t have to consider ourselves a ‘dancer’ to move. Movement can be playful, movement can be light. Movement can be deep, movement can be connective. Movement can be insightful, movement can be shared. Movement can be expressive, movement can be supportive.
Sharing a series of creative dance movement activities, you will experience the playful possibilities this modality invites. This can be adapted for use with children, young people, partnership dynamics (i.e. parent/child; couples) and in small to large group programs.
Experience the ways movement can be woven into your client work as ice-breakers, to bring presence and awareness; as an entry point for feeling and vulnerability, for sharing and intimate holding; for playful imaginative expression and deeper connection.
